WHO WE ARE

The Northland Royals is a volunteer, parent-run organization, formed in 2010 by a homeschool mom to provide an outlet for homeschooled girls to play competitive volleyball. We are

located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.

We are part of the HSWIL (Homeschool Wisconsin Illinois) Volleyball Conference, comprised of 8 homeschool teams, 5 from Illinois and 5 from Wisconsin. In addition to playing conference matches, we also have a tradition of playing games with local Christian private schools.

OUR MISSION

PROCLAIMING THE EXCELLENCIES OF CHRIST THROUGH EXEMPLARY CONDUCT AND CHARACTER, TEAM UNITY, AND HARD WORK

Asset 1_4x.png

Our mission is to proclaim Christ’s excellencies through the pillars of exemplary conduct and character, team unity, and hard work. We strive to provide discipleship in the context of volleyball. Through practices and competitive games, we hope to see each player grow in their technical skills and their team commitment, but most of all, we hope to help the girls grow in their conduct and character on and off the court, and in being mindful of representing Christ as a Northland Royals player. We expect Christ-honoring speech, actions, and attitudes, and we hope that what players learn through playing with the Royals will translate to other areas of their life and to their faith walk for a

lifetime.
